Biography
Hughes burst onto the Australian domestic and shortly after the international scene in 2009. Aged 20, in his second Test, he became the youngest man to score twin hundreds. Shortly after, the left-handed opening batsman with an unusually attacking approach had a successful spell with Middlesex, scoring 882 runs in 13 innings in all competitions.
