After making his Test debut against Australia at Lord's in 2010 it was soon apparent that Azhar belonged on the international stage. The right-hander did need to pass 50 on ten occasions before bringing up his first Test ton, but the consistency of his run-making confirmed him as a key part of a strong Pakistan line-up that included the likes of Younus Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq.
