Biography
The seamer, who signed a full playing contract at the end of the 2005 season, is a product of the Worcestershire academy. A back injury limited his participation for England Under-19s, including ruling him out of the 2006 World Cup. Jones made his first-class debut in 2007 but had to wait until the end of the 2009 campaign for a run in the first team. He enjoyed an impressive 2010 with 38 LV= County Championship wickets, aiding promotion and earning a place on the England Performance Programme to South Africa.
