Biography
Kerrigan, who spent much of his teens bowling left-arm seam before switching to spin, had been earmarked for success by the Lancashire coaching staff long before he took 5-47 on his first-team debut against Warwickshire in early 2010. Fellow slow left-armer Gary Keedy’s recovery from a broken collarbone consigned Kerrigan to second spinner status for the rest of the season, but the youngster removed any remaining doubts over his worth the following summer.
