Steven Cheetham

A product of Lancashire's youth system, Cheetham is a tall fast bowler. He initially came to prominence with his performances in the Central Lancashire League for Radcliffe and also for Lancashire's youth teams.

He joined the Lancashire Academy in 2005 and progressed through the club's scholarship programme to make his senior debut in 2008 and win a full-time contract for 2009.

However, injuries stymied his development that summer, and an ankle problem eventually curtailed his season in July.
