Biography

Meaker is bowler of express pace who has established himself as a key part of Surrey’s attack. He was born in South Africa but moved to England in 2001. Two years later he won the Daily Telegraph fast bowling award, the Channel 4 outstanding team player award and the AA Thompson fielding award. Within a fortnight of leaving school Meaker gained his first England Under-19 call-up, having played some pre-season friendlies for Surrey.
