Biography
A highly-rated wicketkeeper-batter who finds herself in the unfortunate position of competing with Sarah Taylor for the gloves in the England side. Beaumont helped Kent to the LV= County Championship title in 2009 - she hit 136 opening against Surrey - having featured for the England Academy side against an ICC Europe XI in August. Her performances earned her a call-up to the England senior side for the West Indies tour later that year, in place of the rested Taylor, and she made her one-day and Twenty20 international debuts in the Caribbean.
