Biography
Linley at best looked set for a career in county second XIs when Sussex released him in 2006 following a single senior appearance. However, he joined Surrey in 2008 and over the next two seasons grew as a reliable seamer. It was in 2011, though, that he truly realised his potential, taking 73 LV= County Championship wickets at an average of 18.34 as Surrey earned promotion.
