Roland-Jones is a tall pace bowler who has been touted for future stardom.
He burst on to the scene in 2010, picking up 38 wickets at an average of 19.60 in his debut first-class season.
The seamer saw his progress disrupted by injury during the following year but still played an important role in helping Middlesex win promotion to Division One of the LV= County Championship.
Having represented MCC in Abu Dhabi at the beginning of that campaign, Roland-Jones ended the summer as one of 13 players named as potential England Performance Programme representatives.
Next year he was Middlesex’s leading championship wicket-taker with 61 as they came third in the top flight and rewarded with inclusion in the aforementioned England programme to tour India.
