Biography
Banerjee made his way into the first-team after relatively few appearances for the second team, having already impressed for Cambridge University on several occasions. He is particularly dangerous against right-handed batsmen, as he is able to turn the ball sharply away from them. He took 16 wickets in his first season for Gloucestershire and is one to look out for. Banerjee had a disappointing 2008, managing just six first-class wickets.
