Biography
All-rounder Durston made his first-class debut in a tied match against West Indies A in 2002, when he hammered 55 from only 44 balls. He had only featured in five first-class matches before the start of the 2005 season but it proved to be a breakthrough year as Somerset put faith in their exciting crop of youngsters. He featured in seven championship games and scored 323 runs at an average of 35, helped by an unbeaten 125 against Derbyshire in only his eighth first-class appearance.
