Will Porterfield
A left-handed top-order batsman, Porterfield first shot to prominence with a string of fine performances for Ireland.
After impressing for his country in the 2007 World Cup, he earned a professional contract with Gloucestershire.
Porterfield soon became the first Irishman to score 1,000 runs in a calendar year and ended his long wait for a County Championship century by striking 175 against Worcestershire in 2010.
He joined Warwickshire at the end of that summer and despite struggling in the championship, was impressive in limited-overs cricket in his first season.
