Tickets selling fast for Ageas Bowl T20
Hampshire have announced that only limited tickets remain for the Twenty20 international between England and Australia at the Ageas Bowl on August 29.
More than 9,500 have already been sold for the day/night fixture, which takes place just four days after the final Ashes Test.
This means 80% of the ground’s permanent capacity has been taken up.
Stuart Robertson, commercial director at the Ageas Bowl, said: “The reaction to the match has been absolutely fantastic.
“We do expect to add some additional temporary seating if, as expected, sales continue to go as strongly as they have, but we are limited as to how many people we can fit in the ground this year, given that the construction of our four-star Hilton hotel is under way at the Northern End of the ground.
"So, all in all, we highly recommend that if anyone out there is interested in coming to this fantastic event, they should buy now to avoid disappointment.”
Those in attendance get to see two games for the price of one, with England and Australia’s womens' teams playing immediately before the men.
