Cardiff Bank Holiday seats selling fast
Only half the currently available tickets remain for England's NatWest Series one-day international with South Africa at Cardiff on August 24
More than half of the tickets so far available for next August’s Bank Holiday weekend of cricket in Cardiff have been sold.
The SWALEC Stadium will host England’s first NatWest Series one-day international with South Africa on Friday 24 August and, next day, Friends Life t20 finals day.
Adult tickets for the ODI start at £45 and for finals day at £40. They begin at £10 for juniors on both days. As an incentive, those buying England v South Africa tickets will be offered a 10% discount on tickets purchased for finals day.
Glamorgan Cricket chief executive Alan Hamer said: “The 2012 season is already shaping up nicely and we’re delighted to be staging two prestigious matches over next August’s Bank Holiday weekend
“With four matches across two days in one venue, we can guarantee spectators an action-and-excitement-packed weekend, but with tickets being snapped up so quickly we’d advise early booking to avoid disappointment.”
