Previously known as Sedgars Park and North West Cricket Stadium, the ground was renamed Senwes Park last year.
One of South Africa’s newer international grounds, it first staged international cricket in October 2000 when South Africa took on New Zealand in a rain-affected ODI.
Staged its first Test Match in 2002 against Bangladesh with Herschelle Gibbs, Gary Kirsten and Jacques Kallis all scoring centuries as the Proteas raced to an innings win.
Was also used as a venue in the 2003 World Cup and will be the venue for England’s 50-over warm up match against South Africa ‘A’ this winter.
