West Indies take on Australia at Warner Park in July 2008

Home of the Leeward Islands, Warner Park was built for the 2007 World Cup, hosting its first ODI in May 2006 when West Indies beat India by four wickets in a thrilling match which went down to the last delivery.

With a capacity of 8,000, the stadium was funded mainly by the Taiwanese government.

The ground was home to five World Cup matches and, of the nine ODIs played there in total, six have been won by the side batting first.

The only Test West Indies played there, against India in 2006, was a relatively high-scoring draw featurung centuries from Daren Ganga, Ramnaresh Sarwan and VVS Laxman.
