After some time off after the England Lions tour, it is back to work with our first LV= County Championship game of the season which is against Warwickshire at Taunton.

We want some silverware this season. That's the bottom line. We went so close in all competitions last summer - this time we want to win everything. I don't see why we can't win all three competitions.

In the championship we will look to win every game and be top of the division halfway through the season. We are happy to set the pace and let others chase us. We want to put pressure on the other counties.

It's important we start the season well and that means beating Warwickshire. Ian Bell and Jonathan Trott aren't playing for them which is a massive boost for us.

We are a stronger side this year with Steve Kirby and Gemaal Hussain joining us from Gloucestershire. Plus we have George Dockrell too, who looked good for Ireland during the World Cup.

We have Murali Kartik again as our overseas player, but he's on IPL duty at the moment so we have Ajantha Mendis to cover for him. Those two are going to be huge for us.

As for me, I am aiming to repeat what I did last season and score lots of runs. I have had a great 12 months, scoring 10 centuries in all cricket, and am really happy with how I am batting at the moment. I hope I can carry that on.

I guess there might be a bit more expectation on me this summer but I am just going to concentrate on my own game.

I hope the England selectors might take notice of me if I score some runs early on. My goal is to play for England but I am aware there are some talented batsman around the county who want to do the same.

I feel I have done enough in the last year but some more hundreds wouldn't hurt.
