England make most of fine weather

We travelled to the training ground dressed for the sunny climate we were greeted with when we arrived in Cape Town.
No-one thought we needed to bring waterproofs and, inevitably, the rain began to lash down!
But fortunately by the time we arrived at the ground the sun was out again and we were all raring to get stuck into our first training day.
We kicked off with a game of hand hockey, an alternative way to get us all ready for the morning's session, when we worked on our boundary fielding technique.
It was handy to find out how the outfields were when chasing down the balls to the boundary.
Finding them quite slow, we knew that in the games we were going to have to chase everything to the boundary no matter how hard it was hit.
The girls really got stuck into a high intensity nets session in the afternoon, even the resident pigeon that apparently called Amara's name, according to Georgia!
It was great to get a good session in, especially in these amazing surroundings. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's game.
