When I arrived in Adelaide last month I was feeling fresh and raring to go after a few weeks off at the end of the long English summer.
I was really looking forward to coming to Adelaide and working at the Darren Lehmann Academy.
The first three weeks have been tough but very enjoyable. The training is five days a week which includes skill, fitness and match situation sessions.
The skill sessions have been at the indoor school at the Adelaide Oval.
I have been working with legspinning coach Peter Sleep and Darren Lehmann which I have really enjoyed. I am looking forward to working with them over the next five months.
The match situation sessions are open middle practices which gives them a good competitive edge. It helps you develop new skills and the mental side of your game.
The fitness includes two cardio session and two weights sessions a week.
I am also playing club cricket on Saturdays for a team called Port Adelaide, but due to the weather, I have not been able to play much.
I am looking forward to working hard and having a succesful winter here in Adelaide.
