Entrances: From Main Entrance to Riverside from Ropery Lane (players, officials, members, public and vehicles) thence through gates 1 to 6 to the west and north sides of the Riverside Ground.
Members' enclosures: Don Robson Pavilion and defined members' enclosure.
Public enclosures: Rest of the ground.
Covered stands: Don Robson Pavilion (part)
Open stands: Don Robson Pavilion (part) and rest of ground to include other permanent and temporary stands.
Name of ends: Lumley End, Finchale End.

How to get there:

Train: Chester-le-Street station 1 mile. From the railway station walk straight down the road and over the mini-roundabout. At the junction (Lambton Arms on the left), turn right up the main street. Go straight over the mini-roundabout and at the next roundabout turn left down Ropery Lane - keep on the right hand side of the road. You will pass Chester-le-Street CC on the left behind the wall. At the next roundabout cross over the road and the Riverside ground is in front of you. Bus: 1X, X1, X41, X50, 21A, 21B, 179, 180, 551, 721, 733, 775, 778. Go-Ahead Northern, Go-North East, Tees & District, United, OK Travel, Primrose Coaches and Gardiners Coaches travel through Chester-le-Street. For local bus information call 0845 6060 260.

Cycle: There are cycle routes from surrounding areas of Chester-le-Street to this part of the town. A cycle path is located close to the ground and can be accessed from both Durham and Washington.

Car: From north: from A1(M) Junction 63 take A167. Follow A167 to roundabout with B1284 (Ropery Lane). Follow Ropery Lane for signs to Durham County Cricket Club, Riverside. From south: A1(M) Junction 63 and then as for from north. From east: from B1284, Woodstone Village, Houghton le Spring stay on B1284 (Lumley New Road). At roundabout take the second exit. At roundabout take the first exit. At roundabout take the second exit and follow signs for Riverside. From west: from B6313, Hett Hills, Chester le Street stay on B6313 to roundabout with A167 (Park Road). Exit roundabout on to B1284 then as for from north.
