- Q: I paid £25 to get ticket membership to Twelfthman as I thought it would give me the best chance of getting tickets for me and my son to go to the 2009 Ashes. I'm feeling confused though as the Twelfthman window for tickets for Edgbaston is between 15th-17th Oct but according to the Warwickshire CCC Website tickets go on sale to the general public from 1st October. Similarly tickets for the Oval go on general sale from 24th November but the Twelthman ballot is taking place sometime early in 2009. Should I be applying to Edgbaston & the Oval to try & get tickets rather than waiting to apply through Twelfthman? Has my £25 Twelfthman membership fee been a wise investment?

- Q: Why is it that being a Twelfth Man Premium member does not guarentee you tickets for the Ashes but being a member of the Barmy Army can? One of the main reasons I joined was to ensure I was able to get tickets for the Ashes and I face the possibility that I might not, even though I go to at least 3 test matches each year at home and have even travelled to New Zealand to watch England play. I am wondering what exactly the benefit of being a member now is.
- Q: My grandson is a keen cricketer but has once again been denied the pleasures of watching England on live TV due to the EWCBs "money first" attitude to TV rights and his parents inability to afford Sky subscriptions.
