Questions and Answers
foobarQ: To Whom it may Concern: The English Football Association rewards schools that offer high quality football an award (Charter Standard), through passing simple tasks (e.g. offering football in the curriculum, having a qualified football coach etc), I was wondering if the ECB offer the same as I am a qualified cricketcoach and wish my school (I'm a teacher) to be recognised for the high quality cricket that we offer. Thanks Chris Graham
A: Hello Chris. In short, the answer to the question is no we don’t. This is not an area that's being looked at at present. Our new strategy Building Partnerships puts the development emphasis on working through Focus Clubs, so a move into charter mark for cricket in schools is unlikely.
