Questions and Answers

Q: My grandson is a keen cricketer but has once again been denied the pleasures of watching England on live TV due to the EWCBs "money first" attitude to TV rights and his parents inability to afford Sky subscriptions. Is it time to advise him to take up one of our other national sports where he can often watch, and be inspired by, his heros on national TV?

A: No it isn't. Why adive him to play another sport if he loves playing cricket. That would seem to be rather pointless! ECB does not have a money-first attitude to TV rights. But yes, we want to make money from the sale of our rights to plough back into the game.
