Q: Are clubs allowed and what are the legal implications of using the ecb logo on our club website? And does it make any difference if we are a focus club?
A: We can't provide a copy of the ECB logo for use.
Q: I would like to use ecb.co.uk Rss feeds on our club website. Is there any information that must be displayed on the site when doing this and are images available for all news items?
A: Anyone is very welcome to use our RSS feeds as they like. If you're able to say it's come courtesy of ecb.co.uk that's great, if that's not possible, then we're just happy to see them made use of. They don't contain photos, just headline and a first paragraph.
Q: Can you clarify the ODI pitch marking measurement from the centre stump for wide deliveries please?
A: All in accordance with Law 25 of the Laws except where there is additional/different application of the Law in specific competition regulations - see First Class Regulations and Playing Conditions 2008 for further details
Q: Bearing in mind the comments by Giles Clarke regarding Pro40 during the 2008 Season where is the logic in keeping it for another Seasonn I'm sure it's the least watched form of the game and theonly 1 thats not played Internationally
A: We're not sure what comments you're referring to; but NatWest pro40 will run during season 2009, for the final time; and will be competitively fought out by all the counties, as are all domestic competitions
Q: What are you doing about the large number of tickets that end up at vastly inflated prices on ebay? An example of this would be the T20 world cup tickets, when within a couple of hours after the tickets went on sale there were hundreds up on ebay
A: Ticket touting is an often-raised area of concern - something we share wholeheartedly; see here for previous Q&As on this subject
Q: There has been a lot of conjecture this year around our league, that the Fast Bowling directive may be relaxed for 2009.
My son is 17 and bowls medium pace, but as he is very much line and length rather than raw pace, he could bowl many more overs than the 6 he was limited to this year and next as an U17. Other so called spin bowlers are of similar pace, but are allowed unlimited overs. How likely is it that the clubs, captains and if necessary parents can have a say on how many overs are bowled by juniors?
A: There are no changes in this area at present. If there's any updated information we'd post it straight away on the site for you
Q: Where on the Twelfth Man site are the answers to these questions? Thanks.
A: Answers to the questions are published here right alongside. Click on an individual question to be taken to see the answer as well
