Q: i was watching kent vs surrey at the st lawrence ground on the 4th of september were i saw a young pace bowler named chris jordan. i am just curious i know he was born in barbados but is he an english qualifed player so he could play for england now. many thanks patrick hickey

A: Chris hs a British passport, but hasn't completed the residency qualification as yet

A: Hello. ECB can't help you with that, sorry. We're not able to assist directly with players wishing to come and play and progress their careers in this country.

Q: Do you thik a way of attracting more people to watch county cricket would be to let away countys members in free.im sure each county would more than make up any costs with an increase in food and drink sales etc.

A: Reciprocal agreements between counties is something for them to finalise - something you can always raise with yours locally so they can let you know what the pros and cons are

Q: i play for a minor county disabled team (shropshire) i have a right artificial leg and at the moment we as a team are stuggerling rof sponserships for thing such as winter training costs, traverling to and from matches as coach hire is exspensive we also have to pay match fees of £5 every game and i was woundering is there anything/anyone you know who would be interested in maybe donating money or equipment to our squad?

Q: How is it fair to have a man in a joke shop hat and a running outfit competing against "proper" mascots in the derby?

A: Not sure how to comment on the mascot derby. Don't think our regulations cover it!

Q: Do you really believe that the award of 4 points to Worcs and Kent is a fair solution for a match which was never played bearing in mind other matches are being rearranged giving other Counties more points?
