Ian & Katherine from Jersey
My partner Katherine and I were watching coverage of the final overs of the Old Trafford Ashes Clash, sitting on the edge of our seats engrossed in the play when Katherine went into Labour one week early! 48 hours later baby Lauryn was born – an Ashes test match we will never forget!!

I was fortunate enough to be at Trent Bridge on the Friday and also that amazing Sunday ... the atmosphere was incredible. One thing for sure, there was more entertainment in those two days than I seen across the road at my beloved City Ground in the last two years!
Laura Andrews, Stourbridge, West Midlands
Myself, my sister and our three friends were at the day/night game between England and Australia in the NatWest Series on July 28 - which there was no result due to rain! (and we got soaked!!). Luckily before the game we saw the players in the nets and managed to get autographs of both Marcus Trescothick and Kevin Pietersen. Marcus had to laugh at us - five girls all wearing cricket shirts with silver pom poms on our heads!
We also went to the 4th day of the npower Ashes Test (Sunday) at Edgbaston which was undoubtedly the best Test! We have all never been so nervous and that includes my Dad! I managed to get Adam Gilchrist's autograph and photos of the England players warming up on the field. Although the match only lasted two hours that day it was fantastic and definitely something I won't forget in a hurry! Sitting with a group of the aussie 'fanatics' was also an experience! They were equally as nervous as we were and very down-hearted when England clinched the last wicket!
The series has been amazing on a whole and I have to say the most nerve-wracking that I have seen!

Sally Merrett, Sheffield
I set off early on the Monday morning of the 3rd Test at Old Trafford in the hope of getting into the ground. After the train ride, a tight squeeze on the metro with a huge number of fellow England supporters and an anxious wait in a queue outside the ground where I stood telling my friend there was no way we would get in I was one of the lucky ones to get into the ground for what was my first live cricket match!!! What an experience it was!!
The atmosphere in the ground was tremendous and this was solely due to the fact that this England team has shown such spirit, desire and determination, that the crowd can't help but cheer with pride and admiration for what this inspirational team do.
The crowd gave everything just like the players did! My hands were red raw from clapping, my throat sore from cheering but it was an incredible day and it was so nearly an England win!
England have been amazing, each and every player, long may it continue!
Ethan Langhorn - Oldham
Hello I'm Ethan Langhorn and I am 15. My five friends and I went to the 5th day of the Ashes at Old Trafford and it was absolutly awsome!

My (now) Husband and I decided to have our honeymoon watching The Ashes. We were lucky enough to see all of the Edgbaston Test and some of the Trent Bridge Test, but spent Saturday getting wet at Old Trafford. I have quite a few photos but this (below) is my favorite photo - the sun is finally coming out!
I would like to thank both teams and everyone at the above tests to help us have a wonderful honeymoon. We got married on Sat Sept 3 because our team Gloucester got knocked out of the C&G competition.
Just wished we got tickets to the Oval so we could have a honeymoon after the wedding, oh well a honeymoon sat on the sofa should still be enjoyable.
