Physical and Mental Health

Life has changed significantly for all of us over the past few months and for many this can impact on our wellbeing. We know cricket can be a great way for people to stay physically and mentally well so below are just some of the resources which may provide support at this time.

Every Mind Matters

The NHS provides a range of easy-to-access, reliable and free resources that can help you manage your physical and mental health, as well as providing the most up-to-date information on COVID-19. Visit the ‘Every Mind Matters’ pages to find expert advice, apps and support for your mind and body. Complete the ‘mood self-assessment’, which provides tips on how you can make meaningful improvements to your everyday routines and signpost you to stress busters, breathing exercises, time-management tips and advice on how to cope with money worries.

Vitality Fit 4 Cricket

England stars Jason Roy, Tammy Beaumont, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes, Kate Cross, and Lauren Winfield give their best nutrition tips, and demonstrate some of the best batting and keeping drills!

Lord’s Taverners online hub for physical and mental challenges in lockdown

It offers a way for everyone to stay engaged with programmes at home, with a particularly focus on children and young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
