Our Caribbean tour: seven moments when...

England take to the field during the IT20 series with the West Indies

When Woody came back with a bang...

We cheered, gasped and some probably shed a little tear here! Mark Wood marked his return to the England Test side with a simply incredible spell. Bowling at the speed of light the Durham seamer blew the West Indian batting line-up away and put England in the box seat during the third Test in St Lucia.

When Buttler went ballistic, and saluted...

An innings of sheer brutality. Buttler hammered 150 off just 77 balls in one of the most staggering performances for England in white ball cricket. He moved from 50 to 150 in just 31 deliveries leaving us all to pick our jaws up off the floor in unison. Sheldon Cottrell's salute celebration caught a lot of attention during the series and as Buttler hit another maximum off the West Indian seamer he couldn't resist playfully saluting back!

When one man belted out Sweet Caroline...

A washout in Grenada threatened to dampen the spirits of those who had turned up to see the third ODI. However one fan had other ideas as he grabbed the mic to belt out Sweet Caroline and brighten spirits in the crowd.

When our skipper made history...

It had been a tough start to the tour in the Test series but the side responded in St Lucia and Joe Root brought up his 16th Test century to move himself above Sir Jack Hobbs on the list of Test match centuries for England. Later in the tour Root climbed up to third on another list as he moved ahead of Paul Collingwood on the all-time list of ODI run scorers for England.

When Chris Jordan took ANOTHER incredible catch...

Chris Jordan is no stranger to the sublime when it comes to standout moments in the field. Known for having some of the safest hands in the game he added yet another amazing catch to his showreel, diving to take a return catch and remove Darren Bravo.

When Anderson and Broad reached 1000 Test Match wickets...

England’s famous bowling pair wrote yet more history in as their combined Test wicket tally passed 1000. Anderson’s five-wicket haul brought up the milestone which adds to the incredible list of achievements they have amassed since first appearing together over 10 years ago!

When we had an unexpected visitor in the dressing room...

We hadn't been in the Caribbean long and in Barbados we had a hungry visitor in the dressing room. The trail of peanuts was too good to turn down and the visit caused plenty of excitement for the players and staff!
