Pakistan took victory in the second IT20 against England Visually Impaired in the UAE, reaching the target of 132 in the 14th over.
England started well with the bat, having been put in again by the hosts, reaching 33 in the fifth over before Dan Field was run out for six. That wicket prompted a flurry of further dismissals.
Sam Murray fell in the next over for 20 and Andy Powers was dismissed for a duck two balls later. The visitors had lost six wickets for 17 runs in six overs by the time Justin Hollingsworth was run out for five in the 10th over.
Captain Ed Hossell hit 18 from 18 balls, Nathan Jameson added an unbeaten 20 and Amin Afshari contributed 14 as the tail wagged, taking England to 132/9.
Jimmy Millard instigated an exciting start in Pakistan’s reply, taking two wickets in two balls in his first over, first having Sana Marwat caught behind for six and then having Zafar Iqbal stumped by Field the following ball.
Opener Anees Javeed and Mohsin Khan were tougher to dismiss, however, with both reaching unbeaten fifties to see Pakistan home.
