England VI take on Pakistan in UAE

Pakistan wrapped up a comprehensive Visually Impaired IT20 series victory over England with a 151-run win at the Ajman Oval on Monday, taking the series 6-0.

Moeen Aslam hit an unbeaten 131 from 68 balls at the top of the Pakistan innings as the set England a formidable 278 for victory.

Sam Murray was unbeaten on 39 at the end of England’s reply, but the visitors were unable to match Pakistan’s ferocious scoring, ending on 126 for six.

Murray had hit a century the day before as England put in their best batting performance of the tour. Despite finishing the innings without losing a wicket, Murray and Dan Field weren’t able to keep up with the rate, chasing Pakistan’s astounding 294 for one.

And Pakistan’s batting power was even more visible in Saturday’s match as they smashed 312 from 20 overs. Badar Munir hit 23 fours and six sixes as he flew to 172no from 70 balls, while Anees Javed added 78 from 37 balls.

England reached 104/7 in reply, 208 runs short of the target.
