England and International stars sign up for The Hundred

More of England’s Men’s World Cup winners. Alongside other stars from around the globe. Plus plenty of young English talent.

January 19th player announcement

Announced today. An additional 54 players who join The Hundred for 2021. Over 100 players are now confirmed for the action-packed 100-ball competition this summer.

Welsh Fire have confirmed the retention of England internationals Jonny Bairstow, Tom Banton and Ben Duckett. Alongside a host of women’s stars: Alex Griffiths, Georgia Hennessy, Lauren Filer, Sophie Luff and Natasha Wraith.

Jonny Bairstow among eight Welsh Fire signings

Jason Roy will stay at Oval Invincibles. The international signings are flocking to The Kia Oval with South African fast bowler Marizanne Kapp and West Indies spin bowler Sunil Narine joining. Both Roy and Bairstow were part of England’s Men’s World Cup victory in 2019.

London Spirit have made overseas moves too. Pakistan quick bowler Mohammad Amir, plus all-rounders from Afghanistan and South Africa, with Mohammad Nabi and Chloe Tryon set to play at Lord’s.

London Spirit add 10 players to their squads

Dawid Malan is confirmed to remain at Trent Rockets. He’s the world’s best batter in short-form cricket. Accompanying him in the Men’s Squad are local faces Matthew Carter, Tom Moores and Steven Mullaney. And Kathryn Bryce joins the Women’s Squad after being named one of the Players of the Decade by the ICC. 

Manchester Originals have recruited world-class South African duo Lizelle Lee and Mignon du Preez. Also joining the team at Emirates Old Trafford are the exciting talents of Phil Salt and Joe Clarke.

Eight more players join Manchester Originals

England international Kirstie Gordon and Scottish spinner Abtaha Maqsood will be a part of Birmingham Phoenix. While Southern Brave welcome fast bowlers Lauren Bell and Sonia Dedra, spinner Max Waller and keeper Alex Davies.

And Northern Superchargers have retained four players: Helen Fenby, Bess Heath, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Adam Lyth.

Four players are retained by Northern Superchargers
