Would you like to inspire the next generation of cricketers in England and Wales?
Between April and June the ECB is running a number of Women’s Cricket Coaching Conferences to support new and established female coaches and volunteers in developing their coaching skills and building strong local support networks.
The conferences, which take place at a number of locations across the country, are aimed at women interested in, or already leading, teaching or coaching in schools, clubs and communities.
Each conference is delivered by leading female coaches with support from the ECB Coach Development team and regional staff.
Participants will undertake a mix of practical sessions and discussion groups in a relaxed environment, during which they will be introduced to new ideas around engaging players, build confidence and expand their coaching knowledge.
“The event was a wonderful chance to find out more information from the actual players and people who are already in the field.”
Previous conference participants highlighted the value of the learning environment, with one noting: “The event was a wonderful chance to find out more information from the actual players and people who are already in the field.”
Talking about the varying levels of the participants, another added: “The coaches treated us all the same irrespective of our experience and environment.”
