Vote for your player of the week

Who is your player of the week from the Specsavers County Championship – Tom Westley, Rob Keogh, Ben Duckett or Keaton Jennings?

After every round of Specsavers County Championship fixtures will be running a poll on Twitter to see who you believe has produced the outstanding performance of the week.

Below are the nominees from Round 16...

    Tom Westley – Essex

Eight hours and 20 minutes. That's how long Essex's number three batted for as he compiled his highest ever first-class score of 254, setting the Division Two leaders up for an emphatic victory over Worcestershire. And not content with a marathon innings that oozed class, Westley turned his arm over and grabbed two wickets!

    Rob Keogh – Northants

Spin it to win it, and by heck did Northants do that. All 20 wickets in their resounding win over Glamorgan were taken by tweakers – 13 for Rob Keogh and seven for Graeme White. The former took an astonishing nine wickets in one hour 50 minutes in the first innings, and finished with match figures of 13-125. Bravo.

    Ben Duckett – Northants

The Keogh and White show could have led people to wonder how tricky that particular Wantage Road strip was to bat on but Ben Duckett didn't seem to have much trouble. The opener smashed 80 in the first innings, then a ludicrous 185 off 159 balls in the second. He's battering on England's door.

    Keaton Jennings – Durham

What a season this young man is having. With Durham in a spot of bother against relegation-haunted Nottinghamshire, Jennings came to the party again, notching his sixth Championship hundred of the season. Yep, his sixth! He is now the leading runscorer in 2016 with a cool 1,262 to his name...
