Chance to Shine

Chance to Shine is a charity that provides free coaching and teaching resources for state schools. Since 2005, working in close partnership with all 39 County Boards in England & Wales and with hundreds of local cricket clubs, Chance to Shine have introduced the game and its educational benefits to over five million children.

Chance to Shine, has recently launched an updated Primary Schools Programme with a powerful bank of free teaching resources.

The programme, developed in partnership with Youth Sport Trust and supported by funding partner, the England & Wales Cricket Board, aims to build on the previous digital resources which launched in 2017 by further supporting the development of teacher’s confidence to inspire all their children to play, learn and develop through cricket. The ‘Play’ content focusses on supporting children to develop the physical and life skills to become a ‘Confident Cricketer’

The resources are available for all existing users and for brand new users who have never accessed before. They can be found here.
