Across England and Wales cricket clubs are not just the cornerstone of the game, but they also play a key role in their local community. All clubs strive to ensure that their doors are open to everyone. Young or old; men and women, girls and boys; playing or watching; there is a role and a team for everybody at their local cricket club. However, there is sometimes a need to offer additional provision to ensure that everyone is included.
Disability Cricket Champion Clubs
The Disability Cricket Champion Club initiative is designed to help clubs create time and space for members of their community with different needs to enjoy the game of cricket. Whilst the club will be supported with ECB funding, additional kit and resources, it will soon become very apparent that there are far greater benefits to being a Disability Cricket Champion Club.
