Our Media Portal is NOW OPEN for 2021 ECB Media Accreditation Applications.
At this stage, unfortunately we are not able to accept applications from anyone not based in the UK due to the current Covid-19 pandemic situation. As soon as we become aware of further detail and information relating to overseas media applicants, we will be provide an update. Thank you for your understanding.
We have created an FAQs document to assist you with the application process. Please first refer to this document for any questions you may have – this will help the Accreditation Team with managing enquiries. If you require further help with your query please do get in touch, and we will update these FAQs as the season progresses.
Media Application Requirements
Please read our Application Requirements document below before beginning an application to ensure you have collated the required information.
It is important to keep in mind that even if your 2021 Media Accreditation application is successful, this does not guarantee access to any matches (whether domestic or international). The ECB is working with government, and other sports, to plan ways that we can safely stage matches this summer. Should any COVID-19-related restrictions apply it is important to remember that each venue would have different space and capacity limitations and again, we are bound by government guidance and the ever-changing pandemic situation. Your safety, and the safety of all those working at cricket matches throughout 2021, remains our utmost priority.
For Domestic Matches – please contact the county well in advance to discuss attendance opportunities. If attendance is approved, please ensure to adhere to any COVID-19 and/or venue protocols as specified by the county to access each venue safely. Please keep in mind that venues are bound by government guidance and it is not always possible to accommodate every attendance request. We appreciate your understanding.
For The Hundred Matches – we will update you on the process for requesting attendance at The Hundred once it has been finalised.
For High Profile Matches (HPM) – we will update you on the process for requesting attendance at HPM once it has been finalised. We appreciate your patience whilst we continue to adapt to the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic situation, and how this affects our 2021 season planning.
