Stuart Broad's best Ashes spells

The England bowler has had plenty of memorable Ashes performances. Here are five of his best.

8-15 – Trent Bridge 2015

A simply incredible morning of cricket unfolded at Trent Bridge in 2015.

In just 94 minutes Australia were all out for 60 with Stuart Broad running riot.

5-37 – The Kia Oval 2009

This was a real coming of age spell for the young bowler.

England made their way to 332 in their first innings, but Broad turned on the style to help dismiss Australia for 160 and put his side in the driving seat.

Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey and Michael Clarke were among the victims during this famous spell.

5-60 – Chester-le-Street 2013

With Australia chasing 299 for victory in a topsy-turvy contest in Durham, Broad stepped up once again.

The visitors were well in the chase at 174-3 before Broad came to the party for the second time in the match.

Broad removed both Michael Clarke and Steven Smith in quick succession before running through the middle and lower order to guide England to victory.

5-86 – Edgbaston 2019

Australia won the toss and chose to bat on the opening day of the first Test.

In no time Broad was yet again proving a menace to Australia as he removed both David Warner and Cameron Bancroft.

Later in the day bowling in tandem with Chris Woakes, Broad added three more scalps in an impressive display.

3-39 – Cardiff 2015

England had played themselves into an unassailable position in the first Test of the series in 2015.

With Australia requiring over 400 to win in their second innings they had it all to do.

Broad again stepped up for the hosts, removing Chris Rogers, Michael Clarke and Steve Smith to set England on their way to victory.
