2021 Fixed Penalty Directive Breaches

Penalties remain on player records for a period of two years. The accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension.

Reprimands

The umpires reported Dan Lawrence’s conduct during Essex’s LV= Insurance County Championship match against Worcestershire on 9 April 2021. The matter was considered by the Match Referee, Alec Swann, who determined that the offence was at Level 1 of the ECB Directives: 1(b) – wilfully mistreating any part of the cricket ground, equipment or implements used in the match.

The umpires reported Alex Davies’s conduct during Lancashire’s LV= Insurance County Championship match against Northamptonshire on 15 April 2021. The matter was considered by the Match Referee, Peter Such, who determined that the offence was at Level 1 of the ECB Directives: 1(b) wilfully mistreating any part of the cricket ground, equipment or implements used in the match.
