DIVISION ONE
Champions: Surrey
Surrey confirmed their Division One title victory in the penultimate matchweek with a thumping ten-wicket win at home to Yorkshire. The final match of their successful campaign saw defeat to the red rose of Lancashire for Rory Burns' side's only defeat of the season, but did little to quell the joy as Surrey lifted their 21st County Championship title.

Relegated: Gloucestershire
If only Gloucestershire has started their campaign as they ended it. Two wins in the final two matches against fellow relegation battlers Warwickshire and Yorkshire were the only wins of the season for Gloucestershire, and ultimately saw them finish bottom of the table. With an impressive young core, including fast bowler Tom Price, the Bristol-based side have much to be optimistic about.
Relegated: Yorkshire
It came down to the very last session. With Yorkshire losing to Gloucestershire, Warwickshire had to beat Hampshire to maintain their Division One status. A target of 139 did not look too daunting for Hampshire to chase, but a phenomenal 9/62 and 13 wickets in the match for Liam Norwell saw the Bears to a five run victory.
A REMARKABLE WIN 😱

DIVISION TWO
Champions: Nottinghamshire
What a way to reclaim your place in Division One. Four centuries, the seventh-highest score in their first-class history, and a 462 run victory sealed at Trent Bridge, Nottinghamshire sealed the Division Two title in some style.

Promoted: Middlesex
Going into the final round, Middlesex just had to better third-place Glamorgan's result to ensure promotion to Division One. Glamorgan piled on the pressure with a mighty batting effort against Sussex, but Middlesex's towering 509 all out combined with a rain affected match at Worcester to confirm their return to the top flight for the first time since 2017.
A draw is declared at Worcester, meaning...
