Glamorgan's wearying week ended with a thrashing at the hands of Somerset, who look unstoppable in the South Group. Meanwhile, Yorkshire had another record chase on their hands, but with no Jonny Bairstow they found Worcestershire's 342 too tall a task.
Durham 215-5 beat Leicestershire 211 by 5 wickets
Nottinghamshire 303-6 beat Warwickshire 293-9 by 10 runs
Surrey 244-3 beat Middlesex 243-9 by 7 wickets
Worcestershire 342 beat Yorkshire 291 by 51 runs
Northamptonshire 326-4 beat Lancashire 324-8 by 6 wickets
Sussex 332-4 beat Kent 331-7 by 6 wickets
Somerset 338-3 beat Glamorgan 168 by 170 runs
SOMERSET MARCH ON
There were no surprises at the SSE SWALEC Stadium as Somerset showed Glamorgan why they have a 100% record in the South Division. Dean Elgar continued his remarkable run of form, just missing out on a hundred, while Jim Allenby made his maiden List A ton, finishing 144 not out. The Welshmen never looked like threatening the target of 339 to win, particularly after they lost Jacques Rudolph in Craig Overton's first over, and Somerset cruised to their fourth victory in as many RLODC matches.

RAPIDS RISE TO TOP
Worcestershire all-rounder Tom Kohler-Cadmore helped his side to an ominous total of 342 with his second century in as many days (he got one for the 2nd XI on Thursday). To win, Yorkshire would have had to break their one-day run-chase record for the second time in a week but, where Jonny Bairstow had produced a supernatural innings to do just that at Headingley against Durham, he was otherwise occupied with England. Adam Lyth and Peter Handscomb showed flashes of invincibility, but proved mortal in the end as Yorkshire stumbled well short of the line, bowled out with 51 runs needed.
ROOT MAKES A NAME FOR HIMSELF
While big brother Joe was busy chasing down a first win of the summer for England, Billy Root hit his maiden List A ton, an unbeaten 107, forming the backbone of Notts' 303 at Edgbaston. His partnership of 159 with Steven Mullaney was particularly painful for Warwickshire, the latter scoring 89 before taking three crucial wickets. It proved to be enough for the visitors to snatch a win, despite a 21st List A century from evergreen Jonathan Trott.

SPITFIRES BOMB AT HOME
Bowlers love to complain about big bats, funny-coloured balls, and flat tracks. However, Kent's attack had nobody to blame but themselves as they allowed Sussex, inspired by an aggressive Laurie Evans century, to chase down 331 with relative ease. It was all a bit of a shame for the Spitfires, who had batted very well. Daniel Bell-Drummond was the star of Kent's innings; he accelerated nicely to 139, his second consecutive century in this competition, before he became Jerome Taylor's second wicket of the season.
Back-to-back #RLODC 💯s for @kentcricket & @EnglandCricket Lions star Daniel Bell-Drummond 🔥
