Louis Kimber smashed the record for the most runs scored in a single County Championship over.
The 59th over of Leicestershire's match at Sussex was taken for 43, with Ollie Robinson's three no balls contributing to an astonishing achievement.
Kimber struck two sixes and six fours as 37 runs came off the bat at Hove.
The only over in first-class history to have conceded more runs was by Wellington bowler Robert Vance in the 1989/90 Shell Trophy. Vance conceded 77 in a contrived over featuring 17 no balls.
Remarkably, Kimber's feat came just two days after Surrey's Dan Lawrence took 38 off a single over by Worcestershire's Shoaib Bashir.

Kimber's record came in a scarcely believable morning session. Leicestershire resumed the final day on 139/5, chasing a target of 464. By lunch, Kimber had struck 191 and advanced the score to 375/7.
That 191 is the second-highest tally before lunch in any first-class cricket, and the second-highest in the County Championship's 134-year history.
Kimber reached his double hundred with yet another six, reaching the milestone from exactly 100 balls. It makes him the fastest double centurion in the County Championship, beating the 123 balls by Aneurin Donald in 2016.

The 21 sixes belted by Kimber was another record. Only Ben Stokes had ever hit a century's worth of sixes in a County Championship innings, striking 17 against Worcestershire back in 2022.

Having scored 206 of his runs in boundaries, it also gives Kimber the highest percentage of runs scored in boundaries in any first-class innings where a batter has scored at least 200 in boundaries.
It's a tally reached by 10 players.
