Best of the Blast: 25 July

David Miller stars as Glamorgan beat Gloucestershire to go top of the South Group

A South African superstar helped Glamorgan to a big derby win at Gloucestershire, one that sent them top of the South Group. Here are the best bits...

Gloucs lost to Glamorgan by 25 runs
Durham Jets lost to Notts Outlaws by 9 wkts
Derbyshire Falcons beat Lancashire Lightning by 35 runs
Leicestershire Foxes lost to Birmingham Bears by 30 runs

PLAY OF THE DAY

TOP PERFORMER

What an addition David Miller could be for Glamorgan. Huge hitting, internationally experienced players don't grow on trees and having him on board paid dividends right away. He looked at ease as soon as he came to the crease, smashing 50 off 33 balls to help Glamorgan push up to a formidable score of 176/5, one that proved too much for Gloucestershire.
