What does volunteering at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 involve?
Volunteers play a vital role in delivering a world-class tournament experience. Depending on your role, this may include welcoming fans, supporting event operations, assisting media and broadcast teams, or helping teams and stakeholders on site.
Do I need previous volunteering or cricket experience?
No. Previous volunteering or cricket experience is not required. We’re looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to get involved, and a passion for contributing to a meaningful event.
What volunteer roles are available?
Volunteers support across three broad areas:
- Fan & Guest Engagement
- Event Operations
- Media, Broadcast & Communications
Roles are available on both matchdays and non-matchdays.
How much time do I need to commit?
Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of two shifts.
Shifts will be published in advance, and volunteers will be able to select the shifts they are available for, depending on role and venue requirements.
Do I need to be available for the whole tournament?
No. While the tournament runs from 12 June to 5 July 2026, volunteers are only required for specific days and shifts. You are not expected to be available for the full tournament period.
How do I apply?
Applications are submitted online via the official volunteer application form. You can apply using the link provided on this page.
What happens after I apply?
After you submit your application:
- Your application will be reviewed
- You’ll receive further information about next steps by email
- Not all applicants will be selected, as volunteer places are limited
If I already volunteer at a venue, do I need to do anything differently?
If you are an existing venue volunteer, you may be given a venue volunteer code. This can be entered in the application form to help identify you as part of a venue volunteer community.
Using a code does not guarantee selection.
Will training be provided?

What will volunteers receive?
Volunteers will receive:
- An event-specific volunteer uniform
- Meals and refreshments during their shifts
Travel and accommodation are not provided.
