Kenzie Benali - Presenter and broadcaster

I have always been a huge sports fan, but cricket became a major part of my life when I met my now husband Lewis McManus, who is a professional cricketer, a decade ago.

Through supporting him and spending more time around the game, I quickly developed a real passion for cricket and the unique community that surrounds it. What started as a personal connection soon became a career path, and I now work closely with the ECB across both domestic and international cricket fixtures as a broadcaster.

I am incredibly proud to have worked on The Hundred since its inaugural season and to have seen first hand the positive impact it has had in bringing new audiences into cricket, particularly women, girls and people discovering a love for the game for the very first time.

What drives me most is seeing the game continue to evolve and become more inclusive, creating opportunities for people from all backgrounds to feel part of cricket both on and off the field.

My message to women and girls interested in cricket would be, don’t be afraid to get involved. There is a place for everyone in the game, whether that’s playing, volunteering or building a career behind the scenes.
