Surrey all-rounder Sam Curran has been added to England's squad for the upcoming IT20 Tri-Series against Australia and New Zealand.
The 19-year-old will join the squad in Perth later this week ahead of the series, which England start with a fixture against Australia in Hobart on 7 February.
Curran has already spent time in New Zealand this winter representing Auckland Aces in the Super Smash, their domestic T20 competition.
His call-up to the squad means he will join up with older brother Tom, 22, who made his England debuts in all three formats in 2017.
Curran played in his first full season as a professional for Surrey last year, making an impact by taking 65 wickets and scoring 717 runs.
The left-arm seamer and middle-order batsman will now miss the start of England Lions’ tour of West Indies in February and March.
