England have added Jake Ball as cover for the IT20 squad ahead of the upcoming Tri-Series against Australia and New Zealand.
The Notts bowler travels with the squad initially for the Australia leg of the triangular tournament, which starts on Wednesday 7 February.
Seamer Liam Plunkett is a doubt for England's warm-up match against the Prime Minister's XI on Friday, as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury picked up in the third ODI against Australia at the SCG.
Chris Jordan is also sidelined with a hamstring niggle while Alex Hales will sit out Friday's match because of a hand injury.
All three players will hope to be fit for the first IT20 in Hobart.
