ECB Clubmark

ECB Clubmark, as part of the club development framework, allows clubs to access relevant support to enhance their sustainability and improve provision.

Club affiliation is your gateway to the recreational cricket community, formalising your club's relationship with your local Recreational Cricket Board (RCB) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
In return, your club gains access to a range of valuable benefits. Through ECB Clubmark accreditation, your club can demonstrate its commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for players, volunteers, and members.

Affiliation

If your club participates in organised, recreational cricket, affiliation is the right step. Affiliation ensures access to RCB support, entry into national and local competitions, and a variety of funding opportunities to help your club grow and thrive.

How to Affiliate
Affiliation is facilitated through Recreational Cricket Boards, with clubs affiliating to the county in which they are based.
To affiliate, clubs must adopt the ECB Terms and Conditions of Club Affiliation, demonstrating their commitment to protecting players, volunteers, and members from issues related to discrimination, discipline, and safeguarding.
Each local RCB may have additional requirements and unique benefits for affiliated clubs. Please contact your RCB directly for specific details.

Benefits of Affiliation
Affiliated clubs gain exclusive access to a host of valuable resources, including:
  • Club development support
  • National and local competitions
  • ECB systems for club management
  • Funding opportunities
  • Training and events
  • Exclusive ECB partner offers
  • And much more!

Accreditation
For clubs looking to be officially recognised for their commitment to good governance, ECB Clubmark accreditation is the ideal choice. Accreditation showcases a club’s dedication to governance, inclusivity, and development, ensuring a high-quality environment for all participants.
The deadline to submit your ECB Clubmark accreditation application for 2025 is 27 June.
