Northants Steelbacks secured a thrilling second T20 title, as they ran out winners in front of a loud Edgbaston crowd, beating Durham Jets by four wickets.
The Steelbacks reached their third final in four years after overcoming an in-form Notts Outlaws side, who were boosted by the return of internationals stars Stuart Broad, Alex Hales and Andre Russell, in the opening semi-final of the day.
The Jets, meanwhile, had to defeat a Yorkshire Vikings team consisting of six England players to book their place in the showpiece finale, in a match that saw Mark Wood repeatedly clock over 90mph.
