We Are England Cricket Supporters Club supporter terms and conditions

Introduction

These terms and conditions of membership (“Conditions”) apply to each member (“Supporter” and collectively “Supporters”) of We Are England Cricket Supporters Club (“We Are England Cricket Supporters”). Please read these Conditions carefully to ensure that you understand and agree to them. If you do not agree to them, please let us know immediately (using the contact details below) and we shall remove you as a Supporter.

Becoming a Supporter of We Are England Cricket Supporters is free. You will only be entitled to one such membership of We Are England Cricket Supporters. Any person who makes multiple applications to become a Supporter may have their membership cancelled or suspended.

We Are England Cricket Supporters is operated by England and Wales Cricket Board Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 03251364, whose registered office is at Lord’s Cricket Ground, St John’s Wood, London NW8 8QZ (the “ECB”). Any reference in this policy to “we”, “us” or “our” in these rules is to the ECB. Any references to you or your shall be taken as references to a Supporter.

Benefits

Supporters will receive the following benefits:

  • priority access to purchase tickets to England international cricket matches (provided that you have opted in to receiving such communications from the ECB);
  • opportunities to enter Supporter-only competitions; (provided that you have opted in to receiving such communications from the ECB)
  • access to articles and content produced exclusively for We Are England Cricket Supporters;
  • access to special offers in the official England Cricket Store;
  • regular email newsletter with team updates, highlights and details of access to Supporter benefits.

The ECB reserves the right to amend the benefits without notice to you from time to time. If we change any benefits, we will inform you via the We Are England Cricket Supporters section of the ECB website (“Website”) or via other communication channels.

Access to tickets

Any tickets purchased during a priority access period for Supporters or otherwise as a result of you being a Supporter shall be subject to the match venue’s ticket terms and conditions that shall be notified to you at the time of purchase. It is a condition of membership of We Are England Cricket Supporters that Supporters comply (and procure that any ticket-holders comply) with these terms and conditions.

We Are England Cricket Supporters provides access to county websites and the counties are solely responsible for the sale of tickets. Consequently, the ECB accepts no responsibility and will not be liable for any costs, losses or damage incurred by Supporters as a result of the purchase or failure to purchase such tickets.

Nothing in these Conditions shall constitute or imply any guarantee of entitlement to a ticket or access to any cricket match.

Prize competitions

From time to time We Are England Cricket Supporters may run prize competitions, offering Supporters the chance to win prizes relating to the England Cricket team, its sponsors or other prizes that the ECB deems appropriate. Details of such prize competitions and the associated terms and conditions will be published via the We Are England Cricket Supporters section Website or notified to you via email from time to time.

Your use of the Website

Your use of the We Are England Cricket Supporters section of the Website shall be subject to the Website’s terms of use, the current version of which can be found on the Website (“Terms of Use”).

You agree that these Conditions incorporate the Terms of Use, as may be amended from time to time. Please read the Terms of Use carefully to ensure that you understand and agree to them, as they contain the legal terms and conditions that you are deemed to have agreed to whenever you use the Website.

Your personal information

By becoming a Supporter, you agree that you wish to receive emails and other communications from the ECB in relation to the We Are England Cricket Supporters, including newsletters with team updates, highlights and exclusive priority access to tickets.

If you would like to stop receiving information from the ECB you can change your mind at any time, by emailing supporters@ecb.co.uk, adjusting your preferences on the Website or clicking unsubscribe on any email communication we send you.

Cancellation/Suspension of membership

You may cancel or suspend your membership of We Are England Cricket Supporters at any time by emailing supporters@ecb.co.uk.

We may cancel or suspend your membership if:

  • You are in breach of these Conditions (including any breach of the Terms of Use);
  • You breach of any of the ground regulations or other ticketing terms and conditions that may apply to an England international cricket match or any other cricket match organised or controlled by the ECB; or
  • In our reasonable opinion, your behaviour is abusive, offensive or unacceptable.

Delete your account with The Hundred and the ECB

If, for any reason, you want to delete your ECB account, please click here and fill out the linked email with the required information.

Please bear in mind, an ECB account is a gateway used to gain access to a number of ECB apps and services.  If your account is deleted, you will be unable to access any of the apps and services available through the gateway.  For example, if you are a user of The Hundred and also are a We Are England Cricket Supporter, you would not get access to the App or any of the benefits associated with the Supporters programme such as access to priority tickets.

Changes to these Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Conditions without notice to you from time to time. If we amend these rules, any amendments will be published on the We Are England Cricket Supporters section of the Website so please check back regularly to see if there have been any updates. If we make any substantial changes, we may also email you if it’s appropriate. It is your responsibility to check these Conditions for any such amendments.

General

Except in the case of fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence or other cases where by law our liability cannot be excluded or limited, we exclude all liability to you in respect of your membership of We Are England Cricket Supporters, howsoever arising and whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise.

These Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
