Changing Rooms
We are awaiting updated guidance from the EHRC regarding changing rooms, with their interim guidance issued in April 2025 having now been removed. Our changing room guidance has therefore been removed in line with this and will be updated in due course.
We recognise that using gendered changing facilities can be a source of stress for transgender and non-binary participants. Clubs should support transgender and non-binary participants in agreeing an appropriate approach to accessing changing rooms. Reasonable accommodation or adjustment, such as offering alternative or individual gender-neutral facilities should be considered by clubs.
